Product Specification

Individual aircraft access is provided to each bay from a manually operated 12.60m wide x 2.90m high sliding PVC curtain door. The door is specified with reinforced steel uprights and finished with lockable ratchets; simple to open, close and fasten shut the hangar door gives fast access to the air and confidence in security on the ground.

Designed to accommodate the vast majority of light aircraft, the hangar depth (front door to back wall) can be specified to match the space requirements of each customer; expanded by multiples of the 2.50 meter framework spacing. Internal walls (between bays) can be left open for freedom of access or closed off with PVC partitioning to provide privacy between independent bays.

The hangars structure is made from Z35 steel box section with captive cross bracing at each roof section providing superior structural integrity. Frame work is hot-dip galvanised ensuring a robust and lasting finish. External wall panels are clad in CW-34 plastisol coated corrugated steel.

Individually tensioned roof panels are constructed from 600gm PVC sheet fitted into an aluminium tracking system at every section. Tensioned with a ratcheted pocket system to form a tailored roof structure that will withstand the harshest weather conditions with a resilient and durable finish designed to last 25 years or more.

The Accord hangar is designed to be fixed to a C35 fibre reinforced concrete pad and is supplied with plated anchors and excalibur bolts for fixing to the pad.

We work with teams of specialist installers to construct our hangars. This installation service can either be sourced direct or provided by McGregor Hangars as part of a comprehensive supply package.
